Suttle-Straus Receives Record Number of Awards
in Statewide Print Competition

Suttle-Straus, Madison area communications provider, won a total of 55 awards for outstanding achievement in the eighth annual 2008 Graphics Excellence Awards, a statewide printing competition hosted by the Printing Industries of Wisconsin, the state’s trade association for printing and graphic arts.

Competing against over 1100 entries from printing firms across the state, Suttle-Straus garnered multiple awards for pieces submitted for judging. The company received Best of Category for six pieces and Best of Division for four entries, representing a variety of products. Awards of excellence were given to Suttle-Straus for 29 additional entries, as well as another 16 certificate of merit awards for a total of 55 pieces being recognized.

Entries were judged on technical printing excellence by a judging panel of printers, buyers, and ad agency executives. The Graphic Excellence Awards recognize those responsible for the creation and production of print communications in Wisconsin. The competition promotes excellence in print communications and rewards companies and individuals who produce the best in print media.
