Suttle-Straus Hosts Paper Show Event featuring Aaron Draplin

On April 19, 2023 Suttle-Straus in Waunakee, WI, hosted a Print Production and Paper Show for local graphic designers and marketers. This open house style event hosted 160 customers and prospects to showcase the company's wide range of capabilities.

Nationally-recognized logo designer and keynote speaker Aaron Draplin of Draplin Design Company performed two back-to-back speaking fiascos at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to the sold out crowd, sharing his adventures in freelance graphic design.

Attendees were provided a program map and went on a self-guided tour through the facility with 12 stops featuring paper mills from across the country including:

  • Billerud
  • Nekoosa
  • Domtar
  • CTI Paper USA
  • Sappi
  • Sylvamo
  • Mohawk
  • Neenah

Each tour stop gave visitors the chance to learn more about the mill's offerings and to collect free samples and swatch books. 

DSC03383A photo-op stop offered an "I ❤️ Print" 3D display.

Throughout the facility tour, Suttle-Straus showcased its capabilities in offset and digital variable printing, die-cutting, folding, graphic design services, displays and signage, mailing, promotional products, brand portals, and other innovative marketing solutions.

Overall, the Paper Show was a huge success. Reactions from attendees and vendors were overwhelmingly positive.
