Suttle-Straus Receives 3 ADDY Awards From American Advertising Federation

Suttle-Straus is excited to be the recipient of 3 ADDY Awards from the Madison chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF). This the 14th year in a row that the Creative team at Suttle-Straus has been recognized.

The ADDY Awards recognizes creative excellence across the country though a three-tier competition that begins with local AAF chapters. It has become the world’s largest advertising competition, with only the best of the best advancing to the national level.

This year Suttle-Straus was also the Creative and Print Sponsor, designing all the print and digital marketing assets for the event.

The Madison chapter of AAF held their awards ceremony virtually the evening of Tuesday, February 9, 2021. Suttle-Straus had 7 team members in attendance to receive the awards, which were given either gold, silver or bronze designations.

The following projects won an ADDY:

BeBoldGoldADDYGold: Be Bold Event Invite

An invite for our cancelled 2020 Paper Show was designed around the theme of "Be Bold." A staggered accordion fold showed the event details, printed on Strathmore Premium Enhance Ultimate White Mohawk paper for a tactile experience.

AwardsNightSilverADDYSilver: Casino Night Event Invite

This interactive awards night invitation printed on Accent Opaque included variable data on both the box sleeve and "poker chip" RSVP card. The invitation turns into a miniature craps board complete with actual dice.


HolidayCardBronzeADDYBronze: Holiday Card

Our 2020 holiday card featured an iron cross envelope enclosing a set of postcards for spreading positivity. Each designer from our Creative team paired a positive quote with a fun design. The postcard postage is pre-paid through a Share Mail campaign so recipients could just drop them in the mailbox!
