Catalogers Rejoice! USPS Catalog Insights Promotion is Coming Soon...

For those who mail catalogs, how does a 10% discount on your postage sound? The United States Postal Service (USPS) is starting a new promotion called the Catalog Insights Promotion and it gives a 10% discount on postage for catalogs only. The registration period starts this month on August 15, 2025, and ends on June 30, 2026. The promotion period is October 1, 2025, and ends on June 30, 2026. Not only is this the promotion with the largest discount, it is also the longest running promotion. Here is a link to the Catalog Insights Guidebook on Postal Pro.

The promotion is for USPS Marketing Mail only and you must meet all the requirements for a catalog. The mail piece must be at least 12 pages, bound, and includes a list of products or services offered for sale with visuals. The mail piece must contain information to allow an order to be placed and include fulfillment and ordering information. Here is a link to a FAQ for the Catalog Insights Promotion.

To qualify for this promotion, you must meet the following requirements.

• Meet the definition of a catalog and all promotion requirements.
• The pre-approval submission must include a minimum of six double-sided, non-blank pages, with one of those six pages designated as the cover.
• Complete data points required in the Mailing Promotions Portal.

To participate, all you need to do is complete four steps:

1. Log into the Mailing Promotions Portal via the Business Customer Gateway at https://gateway.usps.com. For sign up instructions, visit https://postalpro.usps.com/promotions/portal.
2. Select Submit Promotion/Incentive and follow the instructions to upload an image of your samples (this will be used to identify it)
3. USPS will review and provide a pre-approval decision. You will be notified via email and within the Mailing Promotions Portal.
4. Enroll in the Promotion via Incentive Programs in the Business Customer Gateway prior to mailing. (You may direct questions to the Mailing Promotions Portal Questions tab.)
