One hundred years ago the foundation of Suttle-Straus was laid as a small family company was started to serve its customers with a high level of service and a reputation for quality products. Over the years the product lines and services have changed and adapted many times as technologies have advanced and clients have requested a broader spectrum of assistance from us. One thing that has never changed though is our commitment to listening to our clients needs and then doing everything possible to meet (and exceed) them.
We were an early adopter of the integration of combining a mailing operation into a printing company, installing our first mail line in the mid-80’s. This lead to our clients requesting additional services such as storage of client merchandise, fulfillment, special packaging and distribution. The technological advances of print including direct to plate and the introduction of the digital press allowed Suttle-Straus to offer variable printing and print on demand options. As a complement to these services we became well-versed in data management and mailing which completes the circle of communication between our clients and their customers.
The internet provided us with additional opportunities to offer online ordering of products and storefronts, as well as inventory management and reporting. Today most of our client solutions feature multi-channel marketing incorporating several aspects of our business. A client solution may include developing the creative look, printing and mailing the piece, driving consumers to a Suttle-Straus created website, printing both large format and point of purchase materials and reporting the campaign results back to our clients. All designed to allow them to measure the overall success of the marketing effort. Suttle-Straus has evolved into a single-source marketing partner for our clients and is known as an industry leader focused on quality and customer service.
