The judging was concluded on March 17-18, 2015, by a team of independent judges. The GEA competition is one of the largest printing competitions in the nation.

Straus succeeds John Berthelsen who has been in the role since 1981 and will be retiring at the end of the year.

Suttle-Straus won a total of 37 awards for outstanding achievement in their production over a wide variety of categories. The company received one Best of Division, along with five Best of Category, 11 Award of Excellence, and 20 Certificate of Merit for entries, representing a variety of products.
For the fourteenth year in a row, Suttle-Straus, Waunakee based communications company, has again been recognized as an industry leader. The Printing Industries of America (PIA) awarded the company for its exemplary human resources practices in its 2013 Best Workplace in the Americas (BWA) program.
The company was the recipient of the coveted “Best of the Best” designation, top recognition in the program, the ninth time it received the top tribute. Suttle-Straus’ Ted Straus, Executive Vice President was inducted into the Soderstrom Society by the National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL) on Sept. 7. Straus was one of 15 industry luminaries to join the ranks of the exclusive and prestigious organization.
Suttle-Straus, Inc. of Waunakee has named Jim Twieg to the newly created position of Director of Technology. In this role he is responsible for the continued enhancement of the company’s technology systems and workflows. With this promotion, Jim will also be joining the Executive Team of the company.
